The Florida State offense hasn't skipped a beat with EJ Manuel running it. If anything, the offense got better once an ineffective Christian Ponder left the game.

Manuel has shown some serious moxie in this game, gaining some key first downs.

On this drive, he's four-for-four for 32 yards and has run three times for 11 yards. The key though has been his ability to move the ball all the way down the field and give Florida State a shot at another field goal at the very least. Also, they've run more time of the clock, making a South Carolina comeback more unlikely.

Florida State fans have to be liking what they've got with Manuel because it'll make replacing Ponder a lot easier next year.

Update: Manuel hit Bert Reed for eight yards on 3rd-and-8 to keep the drive alive. He then hit Taiwan Easterling on 3rd-and-goal from the seven to extend the lead to 26-17.
