Laura Govan: Magic WAG Accuses Gilbert Arenas of Ditching Family
Laura Govan, longtime WAG of Orlando Magic guard Gilbert Arenas, has ended her relationship with the NBA star, according to a report in the Washington Post.
Arenas and Govan have been together for nine years, and have three children together. She is currently four months pregnant with their fourth.
According to the report, when Arenas was traded to Orlando earlier this month, he severed connections with Govan and his family, not calling or returning calls. Arenas reportedly left the family at their Grand Falls home with no money for food or Christmas presents.
Publicist Laura Wright, who worked for Govan's sister, said in an e-mailed statement that "Govan and the children feel like they have been abandoned."
Arenas is currently averaging 15.5 points and 5.5 assists for the Magic this season.
