Jonah PulsCorrespondent IApril 22, 2011

A tree fell on Vic Koenning's house during this past week due to severe storms that affected much of Central Illinois. John Supinie, a sports writer for multiple publications broke the news.

Luckily, no injuries occurred during the incident.

Supinie reported on his Twitter less than an hour ago: "Illini defensive coordinator Vic Koenning thankful no one hurt after tree falls on his house during storm this week."

Koenning and the Illini are currently in their last week of spring practices. The annual Orange and Blue Spring Scrimmage will be held tomorrow.

Storms are once again passing through Champaign today. There is a 100 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day and an 80 percent chance tonight as storm chances continue all the way through Wednesday. At this point, the chance of a severe storm is low.
