The Los Angeles Clippers will look to stay hot when they host the Utah Jazz tonight at the Staples Center. Los Angeles won 100-99 at Sacramento on Monday and has now won two straight and five of their last six. The Jazz fell 96-91 at home against Portland on Monday, snapping a three-game winning streak.

This will be the third meeting between these teams. Utah won both games, but struggled to put away the Clippers in both games. Taking a look at the NBA spreads for tonight's games, the oddsmakers have the Jazz favored by 2.5 points over the Clippers.

Utah has been struggling a bit lately, as they are just 6-5 since winning seven straight earlier this season. Utah however has won three straight on the road, and are 10-4 away from home this season.

The Jazz will likely be without forward Andrei Kirilenko, who is battling a lower back strain that kept him out of the fourth quarter against the Trail Blazers. Kirilenko was averaging 16.5 points against the Clippers this season. C.J. Milles will start if Kirilenko can't go. Miles had 16 points in the last meeting against the Clippers.

Scoring hasn't been a problem for the Jazz against the Clippers. Utah reached the 109-point mark in each game against Los Angeles this season, and a big reason for that has been the play of Deron Williams, who is averaging 28 points and eight assists in the two games against LA. Williams was just one of six players who scored in double figures in Utah's most recent trip to Los Angeles.

The Clippers are hoping that the third time is a charm, and with the way they are playing lately, I think they have an excellent shot at winning this game. Blake Griffin has been outstanding lately, averaging 25.4 points, 13.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists in his last five games. Griffin had 35 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in his last game against the Jazz, and is averaging 25.5 points and 15.5 rebounds against the Jazz this season.

Eric Gordon is also playing extremely well right now, averaging 24.8 points over his last five games, including a 31-point performance against the Kings on Monday. Gordon has been lights out from downtown, going 18-for-30 in his last five games from three-point distance.

This is a tough one to call, but I am going to go with the Clippers at +2.5 as I think they have a great shot at winning this game. The Clippers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games vs. a team with a road winning percentage of greater than .600.
