Evan Tanner is Dead.
Evan Tanner has died at the age of 37 after what is believed to be running out of water and gas while on a trip to the desert and succumbing to the heat.
Tanner the former UFC middleweight champion had always been an interesting character having been thought to be written off the books in the MMA world only to come back and surprise us time and time again. The clunky aggressive fighter has had many battles, one of his greatest being the one he had with Rich Franklin.
Starting his career in MMA as quote, "Looking for stories to tell my kids," was an enigmatic character who seemed to live a weird vagabond lifestyle. Here's to you, and keep your head down and your guard up.
