Suspended Iowa Hawkeye running back Adam Robinson has been charged with possession of marijuana.  The incident took place when a vehicle he was riding in was pulled over in Des Moines, Monday night.  The driver of the vehicle was charged with possession with intent to deliver.

Adam Robinson was suspended from tonight’s Insight Bowl for not obeying team rules several weeks ago.   No comments have been made regarding his future status with the team.  One can only assume he is “not in good standing.”

This story will be updated as more information is released.  Expect further developments after the Hawks upset Mizzou tonight.  It may seem improbable, but for the first time all year, the players will be playing a game in which they did not get messed up on drugs the night before.  Perhaps?
