Vikings Vs. Eagles: It's Just Snow, No Reason To Delay Game

This just in, it snowed in the Northeast of the United States of America. In the Winter.

I know, I know, hard to believe. So the powers that be in the NFL decided to hit the panic button and move Sunday night's game between the Vikings and the Eagles to Tuesday night. They claimed it was for public safety, but a further review of their claims really didn't wash for the Philadelphia area.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell called us a "Nation of Wussies" after the announement to move the game had been made.

Can't argue with Rendell because the move seems like a very short-sighted one. On the other hand, if you like conspiracy theories, the storm just became an excuse to test the idea of Tuesday night football. Call me crazy, but the NFL always is looking for new ways to make more money, and if they think a few Tuesday night games late in the season will succeed, this game is a perfect litmus test.
