Darren Fletcher claims George Burley has the complete backing of every player in the Scottish team and insists he should not be judged on his record as national team manager so far.
Lee McCulloch's decision to quit Scotland to play for Rangers has caused quite a stir in the Scottish setup.
"I've not seen any quotes and I'm really disheartened to hear that, I don't know what's been said.

"But if there are players in this camp that are going behind the backs of the players and manager and saying stuff like that then that's wrong.
"If they've got problems they should be up front, like everyone else with this squad.
"George has got the players' backing, especially from me and from players I've spoken to."
The Manchester United midfielder has been unable to continue his goal-scoring form with Scotland as he earlier had been doing with United.
It's good to see Fletch standing up to clear the air, taking some responsibilities!

I like Fletcher, always has sense and doesnt complain that he's not a regular feature at Old Trafford. I agree with him, it's not Burley's fault that Scotland did poorly. It's important for players to get the back of a manager.

Why the big fuss over McCulloch I don't know. He's only won 16 caps and is always struggling with injuries. He can focus on Rangers all he wants but I don't see a place for him in our side any more. His style is suited to last season's long ball rubbish.
His decsision to retire is a bit of a cheek to be honest.
