In their only Monday night game of the year, the Atlanta Falcons have a chance to clinch the NFC South and lock up the NFC's No. 1 seed with a win over the New Orleans Saints.

In reality, the Falcons need to win just one of their final two games (they play the Carolina Panthers in Week 17) to do both. New Orleans, on the other hand, can do the same by beating Atlanta this week and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week—if the Panthers are able to pull off a massive upset in the final week of the season.

It is also still possible for the Saints to miss the postseason, depending on how things shake out these final games. I'll have more on that later.

In their Week 3 meeting earlier this season, the Falcons won an overtime thriller, 27-24. The teams have played a number of close games the past few seasons, and there is no reason to think we won't be in for another exciting contest in this one.

Be sure to check back habitually, as I will be providing updates all night to the biggest happenings of this big game.
