Eagles Game Tonight: Snow Shifts Sunday Night Football Game to Tuesday
Eagles game tonight had plenty of people exciting with Michael Vick poised to further his MVP candidacy.
Instead of getting the chance to wrap up the Christmas weekend with some football, NFL fans will have to wait until Tuesday to see the clash of the NFC teams heading in opposite directions.
Meanwhile, the City of Brotherly Love will dig out from one of the biggest snowstorms the city has ever seen.
The NFL's decision to shift the game to Tuesday instead of playing two nationally televised games on Monday night is a bit of a head scratcher to say the least.
Although league spokesman Greg Aiello said the league was primarily concerned about the safety of fans trying to attend the game, the NFL most likely wanted to maximize the potential viewership made possible by Tuesday night football.
NBC will televise the game, which will kickoff around 8:20 Eastern Time in frigid Philly.
With plenty of playoff implications still on the line, the Eagles won't be resting Vick or their other starters.
