Manchester City and Real Madrid Close to Finalizing Swap Deal

True BlueCorrespondent IDecember 26, 2010

There are strong rumors in both Manchester and Madrid that a deal is pretty close to take Adebayor to Real.  That means that City fans will finally see Kaka in a City shirt.

Both players have failed to pull up any trees whilst playing for their current clubs and neither seems to be in the long term plans of their managers either.

Mourinho is desperate to add a striker to his squad but has been told that there is no money, so only a loan or a swap deal can solve his problem.

Kaka may be the quality that City needs in midfield to push them on still further, perhaps even for a title tilt this year.

City are also desperate to move Adebayor on and his wage demands mean there are few clubs interested.

It seems that perhaps City and Real are, in this instance, a match made in heaven.
