Vikings vs Eagles Tuesday Night Football: Peterson's First Fumble of The Season
Adrian Peterson was on a roll. Following the Michael Vick interception, he had several good runs and was able to put the Eagles defense on their heels. He was able to break a huge run, and could get into Eagles territory and even field goal range.
On that run, he was tripped up, and Bernard Berrian's foot knocked the ball loose as he was going to the ground. Peterson was immediately motioning that he was down, and that it was not a fumble. After the officials signaled it was the Eagles ball, Peterson began begging Frazier to throw the challenge flag.
Frazier elected not to throw the challenge flag, and it turned out that it was indeed a fumble.
This breaks Peterson's non-fumble streak, as he was able to get to 254 straight touches. It's a shame considering it was not even his fault. Let's see if this effects his performance throughout the remainder of the game.
