Vikings vs Eagles Tuesday Night Football: All Defense In First Two Drives
Both the Eagles and the Vikings struggled on their opening drives, and that was with Adrian Peterson and Michael Vick both playing.
The Eagles opened the game with a great run from Michael Vick, but on the next play was sacked and essentially put the Eagles out of any third down conversion opportunities. Thanks to two great plays by Windfield, the Vikings were able to hold the opening drive.
The Vikings had a similar fate, except a failed run by Percy Harvin on second down set up a third and six for Joe Webb, and he was unable to convert. Mainly due to the impressive play by rookie Jamar Channey, and led to the three and out.
The Eagles are starting their next drive on the 50, in great field position to score.
