Ohio State Suspensions: Terrelle Pryor, teammates can play in Sugar Bowl
Expect the Sugar Bowl to go back up on Las Vegas betting boards today after being taken down last night in the wake of rumors that Ohio State players would be suspended.
They are, but not for the Sugar Bowl.
The players, including star quarterback Terrelle Pryor, will be suspended for the first five games of 2011.
Head coach Jim Tressel said he was disappointed but said the players are human and the mistake is understandable under the circumstances of trying to help their respective families. Tressel said there is a sign in the lockerroom that says "You are who you roll with."
The players were called this morning and told of the sanctions.
