It was recently announced that Manny Pacquiao would be facing Sugar Shane Mosley on May 7 for the WBO Welterweight Title in Las Vegas.

This fight is a big disappointment to many boxing fans across the world, as everyone seems to want to see Pacquiao vs. Mayweather.

Mosley is on the downfall of his career while Pacquiao is at his prime.

Here is why this fight won't be exciting at all.

Mosley is on the downfall of his career.  He hasn't won a fight in almost two years, since he defeated Antonio Margarito.

He has since lost to Mayweather and will now face Pacqiao who is considered the greatest pound-for-pound fighter of all time.

It seems like Pacquiao has everything going for him at the moment.  He has the fame, the wealth and the belts.

He is proving to be in the best shape of his life, and to really be at the prime of his career.

Both Pacquiao and Mosley both fought Cotto.  Pacquiao knocked out Cotto in the 12th round of their fight, while Cotto beat Mosey by decision in their fight.

This is just one of the reasons why this fight might not be the greatest of fights.

Manny is the better fighter right now, and it will show.

Pacquiao could be described as a media whore. He is always in the news. He is a movie star, a boxer, a singer, a politician and a philanthropist.

Everyone likes him and wants to see him succeed, this will help him win the fight. Although sometimes hype hurts a fighter, Pacquiao seems to thrive in it.

Boxing needs Pacquiao to win. This will ensure a Mayweather fight, that will in turn save the sport. Boxing needs a huge fight to help it take over MMA once again, if they don't get this blockbuster fight, it might ultimately seal the fate of boxing under MMA.

Pacquiao Is Just The Better Fighter

Pacquiao is just in general the better fighter. Sure he might not be flashy, but in general he is the better boxer.

He is able to manipulate his opponent and really cause problems.

Pacquiao will win this fight and it will be a stomping.
