Well in week one Eagles fans got to see a very affective offense, despite wide receiver injuries, and solid defense. Unfortunately this meant that Rams fans got to see their team demolished by the Eagles. With three Eagles receivers getting over one hundred yards there is obviously a problem in the secondary. And McNabb having that much time in the pocket to dissect the secondary means there is no pass rush coming from a defensive line the Rams have n
ow spent two first round picks trying to improve. It is amazing the Rams have spent the last three first round picks getting defensive players that all seem to have an impact but yet we still can't stop anyone. Now I am not going to blame the entire loss on the defense because it was defiantly a team loss. The offense never got going, Steven Jackson got something like forty yards and Bulger only threw for one hundred and fifty eight yards and spent a good part of the day on his back. The offensive line that is pretty healthy just couldn't get a push up front and that hindered this offense not allowing the run game to go or give the pass game time to do anything productive. Also give credit to a stacked Eagles secondary and a solid pass rush from their under rated defensive line. All in all though the Rams just need a redo and hopefully things will turn around fast or it could be another long season for the Rams.
