Panthers Vs. Steelers: Steelers Turn Ball Over On Downs
The Steelers went for it on 4th-and-1 from the Panthers' 6-yard-line. They came up just short on a pass to Mendenhall. Mike Tomlin challenged the spot of the ball. The call on the field was upheld and the Steelers were charged with their first timeout.
The Panthers took over just inside their own 5-yard-line. They really have their work cut out for them on this upcoming drive.
They need to travel over 95 yards for a touchdown. That's only 11 more yards then they gained in the entire first half. If they are able to score a touchdown, they might be able to climb back into this game. However, nothing up to this point has shown that the offense has the ability to consistently move the football against this stingy Steelers' defense.
Expect the Steelers to try to force a quick three-and-out to get the ball back in their offense's hands.
