Tom Brady Injured, Could Be Out for The Rest of the Season

Yama HazheerCorrespondent IISeptember 7, 2008

I have just read on Yahoo sports, that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be out for most of the 2008 season with an ACL tear. There hasn't been too much information other than that, but his knee is severely injured.

Brady suffered the injury in the first quarter of the game against the Kansas City Cheifs. Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard is the player that tackled Brady and caused the injury to his knee.

“It’s bad,” a team source said. “We’re going to have to play without him.”

This definitely hurts the chances of the Patriots having another successful season. The team will have to step up big time if they want any chance of a playoff spot.
