Shaquille O'Neal: Would Another Injury Make This Season His Last?
Shaquille O'Neal being the Guest Conductor for the Boston Pops is yet another reminder that the Big Diesel is aging. He has played just 17 games this season, and doesn't figure to be a major part of Boston's offense.
We all knew when he got to Boston, he would just be an extra ticket seller while being granted the chance to still compete. However, as we have seen with Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre, refusing to quit isn't always honorable, nor wise.
Favre was knocked out of the Monday Night Football match-up with the Chicago Bears after suffering a concussion. Analysts are speculating the injury could be the end of a Hall of Fame career.
So what decisive injury will put O'Neal on ice? It seems that's the only way O'Neal will retire, and unfortunately it's not completely out of the question.
