Earlier today, Sengoku officials announced that submission ace Megumi Fujii will meet Cage Force and Smackgirl veteran Emi Fujino at "Sengoku: Soul of Fight."

"Sengoku: Soul of Fight" takes place at the Ariake Coliseum, in Tokyo Japan on December 30th and will feature a featherweight title fight between Marlon Sandro and Hatsu Hioki.

Fujii last saw action at Bellator 34 when she lost a highly controversial split decision to Zoila Frausto for the Bellator 115lb women's title. Prior to the loss, Fujii had went on a 22-fight unbeaten streak with victories over the likes of Lisa Ward, Saori Ishioka, Tomomi Sunaba, and Seo Hee Ham.

The Aichi Prefecture native Fujino enters the Sengoku ring with a 9-4 record, winning the majority of her fights via decision. Fujino most recently snapped a four-fight losing streak after defeating Anna Saito via first round armbar/triangle choke.

Also announced, Bellator welterweight tournament runner-up Dan "The Handler" Hornbuckle will square off against UFC and Pride veteran Ryo "Piranha" Chonan.

Hornbuckle last competed at Bellator 25 where he defeated UFC and IFL veteran Brad Blackburn via unanimous decision.  "The Handler" will make his return to Sengoku after having a dispute with the promotion regarding his visa in December of last year.

The Japanese organization DREAM will be sending over Chonan as a part of the fighter exchange they have with Sengoku this month.  Chonan enters the Sengoku banner following a third round TKO victory over M-1 veteran Jun Hee Ham at DEEP 50.
