Redheads in sports are a rare sight. However, when they show up, they sure do stand out.
While there may not be a Christina Hendricks or even a Julianne Moore on this list, there are sure some sexy women.
There may also be some overlap between redhead and blonde, but we are all about giving the redheads their due.
So let us know how we did.
Was there someone you would have liked to see on this list?
Sabine Lisicki is a professional tennis player.
The 22-year-old has missed some time due to injury this year, but don't worry, we will be seeing more of her pretty face in tournaments soon.
Believe it or not, Geena Davis was at one point a great athlete.
In addition to appearing in a sports movies (A League of Their Own), Davis was also a women's Olympic archery team semifinalist.
Rachel Nichols has been blowing up recently at ESPN. Every time I look up, it seems like her face is on the screen.
But hey, I guess you can never get too much of a good thing.
Emily Samuelson is an American pairs ice dancer. What the difference is between ice dancing and figure skating, I don't know, but she looks good doing it.
Samuelson and her partner, Evan Bates, placed second at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 2009.
Heather Moyse is the definition of an athlete. The Canadian competes internationally as a bobsledder and rugby union player, and at the Canadian intercollegiate level in rugby, soccer and track and field.
She also has a killer smile.
Christy Hemme is a professional wrestler who competed for both the WWE and TNA Wrestling.
Now, she works for TNA as a backstage interviewer. If she ever decided to get back in the ring, I am sure quite a few guys would let her pin them.
Bonnie Bernstein was one of the original hot female sideline reporters. She bounced between ESPN and CBS before finding a home doing ESPN Radio in New York.
I am thankful for Bonnie because she paved the way for a few more people on this list.
Kim Sears is the girlfriend of British tennis star Andy Murray. The two have been together for four years.
Sears is also the daughter of Nigel Sears, who is a famous tennis coach.
Paula Creamer is a pro golfer on the LPGA tour. The 24-year-old has won 11 career tournaments and looks to have a long career ahead of her.
She could also be a candidate to do some on-screen work after her career is over. I know I would watch her.
Jeanie Buss is an executive with the Los Angeles Lakers, which her father Jerry owns.
She is also dating Phil Jackson, and the two have been together for a while now.
Talk about your power couples.
Anna Benson is the crazy wife of major league pitcher Kris Benson.
Anna tends to be very outspoken but nothing she said was quite on the level of her 2004 comment that if Kris ever cheated on her she would sleep with the entire Mets (Kris' team at the time) organization.
Her hair may be a bit of an auburn tint, but we'll count it as red.
Sarah Burke is a Canadian freestyle skier. The 28-year-old won three straight gold medals in the X Games Superpipe from 2007 to 2009.
But really, any girl who has her own pro ski deserves to be on this list, even if she is technically a strawberry blonde.
Brittney Stephens is currently a member of the world-famous Laker Girls. She is the only redheaded member of the team and will hopefully stick around for a few years.
Hannah Storm is another of the list of female sportscasters that paved the way for current women in sports. She has been at ESPN since 2007 after working for the CBS Early Show for five years.
I have to admit I have a huge crush on Hannah Storm, and I try to tune into SportsCenter whenever she is the host.
Tanith Belbin is a Canadian ice dancer who currently ranks fourth in the world according to the International Skating Union.
Although she is a natural blonde, and her hair color changes quite a bit, the darker shade fits her well.
Angelica Bridges is a double whammy. She is married to NHL defenceman Sheldon Souray, and she tried out for the Las Vegas franchise of the Lingerie Football League.
She truly is a renaissance woman.
Cheryl Cole is the ex-wife of British soccer star Ashley Cole. They divorced earlier this year when the soccer star cheated on his wife.
Really, Ashley Cole? You thought you could do better than this?
Jennifer Walcott is married to former Arizona State and St. Louis Rams player Adam Archuletta. It seems unfair that someone who flopped so badly in the NFL can be married to someone who looks like this.
What do I know, though?
I know what you're thinking...Erin Andrews is a blonde. I think her natural hair color is closer to a strawberry blonde, so that's why I put her on the list.
I mean, really, she is the most beautiful sports personality around right now, so of course she has to be here.
Kate Mara has ties to two of the most well known NFL franchises in existence. She is part of the Mara family that owns the New York Giants, and she is the great-granddaughter of Art Rooney, who founded the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Whoever Mara ends up marrying is a lucky guy for more than one reason.
