Good afternoon, college football fans! This is Keyon Jeff, featured columnist here, ready to guide you through the New Orleans Bowl battle between the Ohio Bobcats and the Troy Trojans from the Louisiana Superdome.

Ohio (8-4, 6-2) finished second in the Mid-Atlantic Conference East Division under sixth-year coach Frank Solich. The Bobcats are seeking to win their first bowl ever. They are 0-4 in bowls, including last year's 21-17 lost to Marshall in the Little Caesars Bowl.

Troy (7-5, 6-2) earned a share of the Sun Belt Conference title, their fifth consecutive conference crown under 20-year head coach Larry Blankney. The Trojans are 1-3 in bowl games (1-1 in this bowl), and are looking for their first postseason victory since the 2006 New Orleans Bowl over Rice 41-17.

Anticipate an entertaining game with Troy's spread offense going up against a very good Ohio defense.

Enjoy the game and read on for more of my insight.
