New Maryland Terrapins head coach John Tillman released the Terps' 2011 lacrosse schedule Thursday, with every game being broadcast either locally or nationally.

The Terps kick off the 2011 season at home on February 19 against Detroit Mercy. This will be the first time the two programs meet, and if the Terps are real national title contenders, they should roll over Detroit.

Maryland is then home the next Saturday against crosstown rival Georgetown. This game will be broadcast on ESPNU and should be a great rematch of last year's 15-13 Terps win.

After this, the Terrapins kick off March with their first ACC test, against Duke. The Terps will travel to Durham in hopes of getting a big early-season win over the defending national champions.

Maryland then takes a break from top-five opponents and faces Bellarmine at home, travels up 95 to Towson, welcomes UMBC to College Park and finishes off the lighter stretch of the schedule by playing St. Joseph's two days later at home.

After this the Terps get back into the heart of their schedule, welcoming North Carolina before heading to Virginia. Both of these games will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU.

The Terps finish off their regular season against two in-state rivals. They will travel to Annapolis to take on Navy before welcoming Johns Hopkins at home under the lights.

Maryland will then play in the four-team ACC tournament in Durham before officially finishing off the season at home against Colgate.

With these 12 regular season games, the Terps will hope to go at least 10-2, which would mean beating one of UNC, Duke or Virginia—no easy task.
