What's in a Number?

8 to 1 - as in the ratio of touchdowns to interceptions thrown by Tom Brady.

1600 - as in the amount of dollars some fans are reportedly willing to part with to see Brady’s Patriots go for 16 and 0.

3.41 to 1 - as in Steve Nash’s assist to turnover ratio. Imagine what that number would be if ‘Kindergarten’ Marion could shoot (can’t take credit for the nickname—Aaron, I’ll let you do the honors). Toronto’s Jose Calderon leads the league at 6.13 to 1.

11 - as in the consecutive number of wins by the Portland Trail Blazers.

32 - as in plus 32, Dany Heatley’s plus/minus ratio for the Ottawa Senators.

10 - as in the amount of dollars paid for a front row/obstructed view seat at the 2008 Ice Bowl in Buffalo.
