This week’s rankings (I did not provide descriptions for players who were on the list last week)

10. Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback, Green Bay Packers (5)

9. Matt Cassel, Quarterback, Kansas City Chiefs (6)

8. Josh Freeman, Quarterback, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NR): Freeman has emerged out of nowhere to lead a team many thought would be the NFL’s worst to an 8-5 record. The Buccaneers have a decent chance of reaching the postseason, and Freeman’s play has been a big reason why.

He has thrown 17 touchdown passes against just six interceptions and has a passer rating of 87.9. He has rushed 55 times for 301 yards and has led five fourth quarter game-winning comeback drives this season.
