I know this is my opinion, but I’m getting quite tired of feeling sorry for Jeff Hardy! A person, who a decade ago had the upstart of one of the most promising careers in professional wrestling, is now on a downward spiral just waiting for its impact.
Now, TNA Heavyweight Champion, Hardy is a painted face lunatic who now addresses himself as the “Anti-Christ” of professional wrestling. An being that this is my own opinionated entry on B/R, I’m just going to lay it on the line by saying I’m not buying into this.
If you feel that this is just some “work” of a clever person, be prepared to be amazed at the following video I posted. It seriously hits the nail on the coffin towards the explanation of my post.
Today I decided on writing this entry not as a reporter for B/R, but as a fan of professional wrestling. A fan that has seen some of the greatest professional wrestlers come and go—due to continuous substance abuse.
I take Hardy’s recent promos, attitude and current “lifestyle” trend, to be nothing more than a cry for help. This can clearly be seen, on TNA IMPACT every week continuously having the same glazed look upon his face. But as I stated before, I’m not buying into this anymore.
If a man wants to ruin his life like the other great ones before him, let him continue. I think Oscar Wilde said it best when he stated, “Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.”
I just hope Hardy learns this time!
