So now that Newton has won the Heisman and has been cleared by the NCAA of any wrong-doing, he can have some fun with the season he has had.  A season that produced nearly 50 TD's, 4000 all-purpose yards, and put Auburn in the BCS national title game against Oregon on January the 10th.

Last night he appeared on "The Late Show With David Letterman" with a "Top 10" list of things he can now say after winning the Heisman Trophy. It is certainly not the last appearance Newton will make publicly after winning the award, but one that definitely gave the kid a chance to have a little fun.

Letterman poked some fun of how big Newton is, and probably wished a guy like Newton would end up at his alma mater, Ball State.

Newton appeared happy and was smiling instead of avoiding the media like in past weeks. Whether it was jokes on him swallowing mouth pieces, or Newton admitting he has Beiber Fever, it made for a funny bit for a guy that has had little to laugh about off of the field.

Plus after winning the Heisman, Newton now should be able to use the trophy itself for identification.

If he does end up on Rachael Ray baking a football shaped meatloaf, I will be sure to add that link as well.
