Iowa Football Drug Scandal: Is There Any More to the Picture?
Barta is now explaining the drug testing process. Frankly, if they haven't announced any further suspensions at this point, I'm wondering if this is all there is.
Barta said there are multiple levels of drug testing, including at the Big Ten level and the campus level. At the campus level, the school spends about $70,000 to manage the drug testing program and has done so since 1988 at their own volition—it is not mandated by the NCAA.
Unless this is leading to some huge annoucement, which it doesn't appear that it is, it sure sounds like Iowa football is safe outside of the three aforementioned players.
