It was one year ago that the Philadelphia Phillies signed Roy Halladay as a free agent and traded Cliff Lee to the Seattle Mariners. Tonight, Cliff Lee turned down a 7 year, $154 contract with the Yankees to sign a 5 year, $100 million deal with the Phillies.

After losing Jayson Werth to free agency, Ruben Amaro did one better by bring back Lee and giving the Phillies what could be the greatest 5 man pitching rotation in baseball history.
