Vikings vs. Giants Time: Kickoff An Hour Before Texans-Ravens
Vikings vs. Giants will kick off an hour before the Houston Texans take on the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.
Because of the Teflon roof at the Metrodome collapsed in Minneapolis on Sunday morning, the game has been moved to Detroit and will be played at Ford Field. Yesterday, in the same stadium, the host Lions defeated the Green Bay Packers 3-0.
According to NFL.com, anyone with a ticket to the Vikings-Giants game will be admitted, and fans with a stub from Sunday's Lions-Packers game will also be given seats. General admission seats were also distributed free of charge this morning outside the stadium.
The 8-4 Giants now must win to keep pace in the NFC East race with the Philadelphia Eagles, who won yesterday in Dallas 30-27.
Minnesota, at 5-7, is essentially out of the playoff race, but has won two in a row under interim head coach Leslie Frazier.
