According to several reports on the Internet as well as reporters on Twitter, Brett Favre texted reporters that he will not be playing Monday night versus the New York Giants.

This news was released hours after it was announced that the Vikings game against the Giants will be played in Detroit at Ford Field instead of the Metrodome.

Brett Favre was injured during the Bills game last week when Arthur Moats almost sacked him; instead, Favre threw the ball into the hands of Drayton Florence for an interception.

More information will be coming, so the new information that is received will be posted at the end of this article as it comes in.
