The Aaron Rodgers concussion video is up on the Internet, and it's a play that plenty of Packers fans don't want to see again.
Rodgers scrambled in the first half, and instead of sliding feet-first and avoiding the hit, the quarterback went headfirst and paid for it. Rodgers was hit from behind, and the contact caused his head to hit the ground, giving Rodgers a concussion and keeping him out for the rest of the game.
This is the second time this year Rodgers has had his bell rung, and you know that Green Bay is going to take every precaution necessary to keep him healthy, seeing as Matt Flynn isn't exactly a Pro Bowl option under center.
This concussion adds more bad luck to an already unlucky season for Green Bay. The Packers have already lost Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley, and now Rodgers is out with a concussion. We just know that he's out for the game at this point, but if he's out for longer it could doom Green Bay's playoff chances. Good thing the Packers are playing the Lions, who with Drew Stanton under center had a grand total of zero passing yards at the half. Now that's winning football.
It's been quite the back-and-forth so far, and without Rodgers under center it'll be interesting to see how the Packers respond. Green Bay didn't look good with Rodgers in the lineup, and they don't look any better with Flynn.
Both teams are playing sloppy, and it's just no fun to watch.
Maybe the Vikings and Giants will give the city of Detroit a more entertaining game tomorrow night.
