Brett Favre, quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings, is reportedly unlikely to start in Monday night's game against the New York Giants due to a shoulder injury he suffered last week.

The game was originally scheduled for today, but due to weather conditions it was forced to be postponed. Notion was that it would provide additional time for the 41-year old to heal himself in preparation for the game. However, it doesn't appear like it'll be enough.

If Favre doesn't start, it will ultimately end his record streak at 297 consecutive games started.
