Saturday night's main event at UFC 124 in Montreal was full of ups and downs. Mainly, George St-Pierre's record and stats went up and Josh Koscheck's ego went down.

GSP, who put on a clinic with his jab, placed Koscheck in an uncomfortable situation from which he was unable to recover. From the first round, GSP utilized the jab and left Koscheck looking for the golden take-down, but it never surfaced.

GSP stayed smart, utilized his jab, and stuffed nearly all of Koscheck's take-downs to ultimately dominate the five-round match. Between the control, technique and professionalism he demonstrated, St-Pierre easily retained his welterweight championship.

Koscheck, in his post fight interview, stayed classy and delivered the due respect to the reigning champ.
