Heisman Trophy 2010: Who's the Better Tackler, Andrew Luck or Cam Newton?
The Heisman Trophy 2010 ceremony is nearly finished, but we still have time to kill before they announce the winner.
And while many expect the winner to be Cam Newton in a landslide, the folks at ESPN have been right to stress the unique talents of Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.
One of the videos that's popped up pretty consistently today is Andrew Luck's mega-hit on USC's Shareece Wright, which I have attached here for your viewing pleasure.
Indeed, for all of Cam Newton's many talents, one of the things we haven't seen him do this year is lay somebody out. And in my opinion, Luck's vicious hit is way more impressive than some petty touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone.
But then again, if you disagree, I'd be happy to entertain your comments if you leave them below.
In the meantime, I'd recommend checking out Bleacher Report's coverage of the 2010 bowl season with our Projections for the BCS Title Game and All 35 Bowls.
