South Carolina running back David Sims committed to the Kentucky Wildcats on Thursday.
Sims, a 6-foot, 208-pound senior at Calhoun County High School in St. Matthews, S.C, chose Kentucky over a list of college's top teams.
Some of the teams listed are Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Alabama and Michigan.
Sims chose UK because of the way they have been recruiting and because they are on the rise.
As a Junior, Sims played quarterback, but should play running back in college.
Sims threw for more than 1,900 yards with 19 touchdowns last season. While running for more than 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns.
He also played defensive back, intercepting five passes and returning three for touchdowns.
The University of Kentucky has added another top player to its already strong class.
