In an amazing article written by Arturo Collozo, Jr. (which you can read here http://www.nationalledger.com/artman/publish/article_272622498.shtml) Randy Couture's tough-as-nails wife said she feels sorry for Brock Lesnar at UFC 91.
It's getting personal. Already. Kim Couture, the wife of the UFC Heavyweight Champion (and one hell of an MMA fighter herself, even though she lost her first fight) has chimed in with her opinions on the UFC 91 main event set for Nov. 15. Her husband will be defending the title in a five-round fight against former WWE Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.
"(This fight) wasn't Randy's idea, trust me," Kim stated during an interview with Steve Cofield. "Randy wasn't the one that came up with Lesnar, that was the UFC's idea. It's surprising to me, shocking that they'd throw a guy in that's only had three fights in with someone like Randy. I kind of feel sorry for the guy."
She added, "He poses some interesting problems and that's what Randy is good at, is taking care of those problems. So he's no bigger or tougher than (Gabriel) Gonzaga or Tim Sylvia. So, I don't really know where (this match) came from."
