Dallas Cowboys Aiming to Ruin Philadelphia Eagles' Season—Again

Last season, the 11-4 Eagles traveled to Texas to play the 10-5 Dallas Cowboys with the NFC East crown at stake.

What happened next was, without a doubt, the three most humiliating hours of my life as an Eagles fan.

The Cowboys won 24-0 and earned the third seed in the postseason. The Eagles, who had clinched a playoff spot two weeks earlier, limped into the postseason as the final wild-card team.

The next week, the Eagles traveled to Dallas again, where they suffered an equally embarrassing 34-14 loss.

This signaled the end of the Donovan McNabb era.
