Dan Mullen: Is he the next Florida football coach?
Dan Mullen is not only one of the obvious choices to replace Urban Meyer at Florida, he might be the only choice.
The King David Show, on 1010 WQYK-AM radio in Tampa, is already reporting that Mullen has been offered the job. This is not backed by confirmation, only sources.
Mullen was the offensive coordinator at Florida for four seasons, and the Gators were ranked third and fourth in the country in offense, respectivly, in his last two seasons in Gainesville. Now, granted, Florida did have Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin during that time, but one has to wonder what Mullen could have done with young John Brantley this year.
