I don't know about everyone else, but I'm psyched about this next year's NBA season. The Bucks actually seem like they have a good chance to go far this year, and LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are kickin' it like superstars filled with humble pie.

It seems like just yesterday that the magic three (Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce) took away the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Despite the Pacers vs. Pistons fight a few years ago, the league finally seems like it's back on track aided by the 2008 Redeem Team, less and less bad media attention, and the NBA Live video game series getting rated as one of the best-selling franchises in history.

What's going to be so exciting you ask? Well, below I've got my top three picks for the NBA season.

1. Boston Celtics

Magic three? Who'd really challenge that...they rock.

2. Detroit Pistons

Billups+Brown+Hamilton+and Prince=When it comes down to it, do they truly have the talent to get Larry O'?

3. Phoenix Suns

Porter+Shaq+Nash=Good, but not quite enough.

Not sure if you agree, but remember where you saw this if it proves true again. Thanks to commissioner David Stern, the NBA has rebounded from punishing events, and I see a bright future for basketball. Go to a game, support your team. They are making more of a difference in our community than ever before.

As a side note, indoor sports leagues are starting up. If you need help with organization of your team or even if you need help running your own league, check out poweredbyeastbay.com. I've checked it out and I can guarantee you'll find things to be a heck of a lot easier.
