Shane Helms Should Not Be Discredited So Easily for Bashing Shawn Michaels

Through his talk show, Shane Helms bashed Shawn Michaels.

With Michaels being one of the most popular wrestlers of our generation, a lot of people came to his defense immediately without taking things into consideration. Since Helms is no longer working for WWE, he became a target of scorn for bashing Michaels.

Michaels is definitely a changed man. Age and maturity will do that to a person. He's no longer the selfish jerk that he used to be. For those of you who were not fans back then, Michaels was easily one of the most despised guys in the industry. Ask Bret Hart.

While he did change, there have to be some of his old personalities buried deep within. Those bad traits that we get rid of do have a tendency to creep out every once in a while. We're all human.

Another thing to keep in mind is that it looks foolish to adamantly defend someone when we're not backstage at these events in person. As wrestling fans, we're only privileged with information that is released from those that are there on the inside.

Helms didn't randomly choose Michaels to bash; something must have happened between the two in the past.

If Helms is just bitter like some Michaels supporters claim him to be, then wouldn't he be out there bashing a lot of other people?
