ecw sux, it stands for extreme championship wrestling when was the last time something extreme happened, like holy shit extreme. WWE started ecw because of the sucess of the ecw dvd and the one night stand ppvs, the reason those shows were popular was because they had ecw matches with ecw stars and most importantly ecw fans, not arena smackdown fans. they started killing slowly from the beginning to now its just pathetic, anyone who happens to get a little over on the show gets pulled to one of the big shows, they treat it like the nba treats the d-league. IMO they should cancel it liquidate the roster salvage the worthy ones and split them up among the other two brands. but if WWE wants a third brand of crappy wrestling they also own the rights to WCW.
