Chris Russel of ESPN980 in Washington D.C. is reporting that a well-placed source within the Washington Redskins has told him that there is a 75 percent chance that the Redskins will release nose tackle Albert Haynesworth.

Honestly, this is coming too late.  They should have cut him in the offseason or, at the very least, taken the fourth rounder reportedly offered by the Tennessee Titans.

However, the end of the Haynesworth era will be welcomed with open arms by me.  It will be a classic addition by subtraction.

We'll have to wait and see if this pans out. I'll be sure to stay on it and report back with any new news.
