The WWE is working on getting their own cable TV channel to showcase their library and maybe some original programming. Vince McMahon has been wanting to do this for years and is compiling a business plan to show to cable companies.

They have to try to prove that WWE fans would be willing to tune in, despite Raw, ECW, and Smackdown being on other networks. When they are on the other networks they have been those networks No. 1 shows, and RAW itself has been the highest rated cable program on Mondays, beating out even the Olympics at one point.

I am sure WWE fans around the world would watch, so look for it to happen probably after TV goes digital in February of 2009. Maybe within a year or two. It is called World Wrestling Entertainment for a reason, you know.
