After months of lingering injuries Josh Beckett is set to return to the rotation Friday. This is not final yet, but from all of the reports and medical reports I have read it looks to be OK. Dr. James Andrews, the doctor no professional athlete wants to go visit, cleared Beckett.

Terry Francona spoke about Beckett to the media and had this to say:"He threw all of his pitches with good intensity. Everything's fine."

So let this reassure Red Sox fans around the world that September is our Month and we will win the A.L. East as long as everyone stays healthy. This more than likely is not the case but we can hope can't we?
