Colorado Coach Hawkins Suspends Two Offensive Lineman

A day after the Colorado Buffaloes Football team beat down their in-state rival Colorado State, 38-17, Colorado Head Coach Dan Hawkins delivered another beat down. But this time it was on his own team.

Coach Hawkins suspended junior guard Devin Head for one game, and redshirt freshman tackle Ethan Adkins indefinitely for violating team rules.

"This is disappointing to all of us, but we are going to continue to emphasize our philosophy of excellence with class and we will uphold our standards," said Hawkins in a press release on Monday.

Head, who was in the starting lineup for last Sunday's game against CSU, will likely be replaced by redshirt freshman's Shawn Daniels or Blake Behrens for Saturday's game against Eastern Washington.
