According to the UFC website, Dana White is set to make a "important" announcement today at 3pm ET. I wonder what it could be?

    Obviously there have been reports that Randy Couture is in the process of negotiating a return to the UFC. There have also been the rumours of a Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar fight which could spell big money for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A legend of the sport fights a former Pro Wrestler!

    Other rumours include a co-promotion fight against Affliction's Fedor Emelianenko. With all these rumours the fans cannot help but ask, "What about Noguiera and unifying the heavyweight belt?" A theoretical UFC response might be "All in good time, first we make the money then we worry about technicalities."

    Whatever the announcement, it is hard to imagine Randy Couture agreeing to return the UFC without the promise of a fight with Fedor.

     But could the UFC have become a little less evil or are they just doing what is in their best interests anyway? Lets see, they could fight legal battles with one of the greatest UFC stars of all time, or they could give him a little more money and cash-in on the fight with never-ending hype...Fedor vs Couture. Okay, maybe the UFC have come to their senses.

    Couture's return even if it is against a Pro Wrestler, will be welcomed by the fans dying to see the "The Natural" back in the octagon.
