Will Eagles Defense Contain Houston Texans Running Back Arian Foster?
Houston Texans running back, Arian Foster, has exploded onto the scene this year. His 33 carry, 231 yard, three touchdown performance against the Indianapolis Colts wasn't a one game wonder.
Through the first 12 games of the year, Foster currently leads the entire NFL in rushing yards with 1,147, touchdowns, with 12, putting him ahead of Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson in both categories.
He rushes for 104.3 yards-per-game, another rushing category in which he holds the lead.
Foster is also a receiving threat out of the Texans backfield, catching 48 passes for 453 yards and a score. His 48 receptions is second most on the team, just behind Andre Johnson's 65.
The Eagles struggle against the run, and have already allowed opposing tailbacks to rush for 102.5 yards-per-game, while scoring eight touchdowns.
