Juventus midfielder Tiago Mendes got so angry at the club’s president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli that he locked him in the restroom.

“The story of me being locked in the toilet by Tiago is true,” confessed Cobolli Gigli live on Sky Italia.

The Bianconeri chief wants to send the €20m-man away, who has been considered to be one of the biggest busts of the Serie A.

“It's a shame it got out, as this was something I told a friend in confidence. In any case, Alessandro Del Piero responded to the noise of me punching the door and offered to break it down.

“I told him it was better if someone else did it, as he needed to keep his shoulders in good shape for the Fiorentina game.”

Everton, Manchester City, Benfica, and Monaco have tabled some serious bids for the Portuguese midfielder, but he rejected them all as he wants to play in the Champions League.

“Hopefully by midnight Tiago will have found another club,” concluded Gigli.

The insanity that has hit the Serie A the last couple of years has been an alarming sight to witness for all other footballing minds around the world.

Does the league have a "boss" to control this atrocious commotion?

A player harassing a president and the one who actually owns his rights, should be handled with the most uptight punishment.

If a player committed this kind of act in the Premier League or La Liga, the media, the fans, the administration, and FIFA would kill his footballing career.

In my beloved Italy, however, see you later.

LOL how old is he, 6?! I don't really get what Tiago is trying to achieve with all this. He's 27 (I think) and doesn't have the time to waste an entire year as a bench warmer for Juve.

haha. Exactly..he thinks he's playin hide n seek or somethin?

Yeah, go to any other club and reserve your spot in the starting line-up. He's sick in his mind.

      Thanks for the comment, Ana.

When I saw this on another website a few days back I almost fell over laughing. Tiago is such a weirdo. I don't know why, if he hates some of the people at the club so much, he keeps rejecting a move away from Turin. I guess it's just the 2.6 million euros a year.

haha, yeah. Sorry bout stealing the "article idea" from you man. He needs a therapist. Why does he want to stay at a club that will basically put him on the shelf. Its really puzzling. Maybe its the dough, but I doubt it though..he can get it elsewhere.

      Thanks for the comment

no need to apologize for it. it's just that anything not "manchester united" or "chelsea" or "EPL" doesn't get reads on here usually, so i figured i nobody would bother looking at it. i have written plenty of juve articles (as you can see) on here, but nobody really cares. kinda surprising considering juve is italy's most successful club.
