IconSo Barry's camp starts out negotiations looking in the $14 mil neighborhood.   Exactly zero other teams bid for his services.  And he ends up signing for $16M.  Nice work, Sabes.
 
True, the market this year has been out-of-this-world loopy over largely mediocre talent. But this has to be the first time I've ever heard of a home-town discount going in the player's favor.
